About Me
Dogs have been a part of my life from the very beginning. I grew up rescuing and training dogs of every kind—fearful dogs, neglected dogs, and plenty of wonderful family mutts. Over time, I discovered I had a natural instinct for understanding how dogs think and what they need to feel safe, confident, and connected.
My career originally started in the corporate world, where I trained teams and led operations across the East Coast. But in 2006, I felt called to build something of my own and became deeply involved in the Newnan community through local organizations and volunteer work.
Everything changed in 2019 when my wife and I began fostering for Healing4Heroes™, helping prepare service dogs for veterans. That experience reignited a lifelong passion and set me on the path to becoming a Certified Dog Trainer.
Today, I help families build calm, trusting relationships with their dogs—right in the comfort of their homes—through simple, positive, relationship-focused training.
Why My Credentials Matter for You and Your Pet
It is common for pet owners to feel overwhelmed by the alphabet soup of professional acronyms in the pet industry. While you may not know exactly what every letter stands for, holding a professional credential is my “Ethical Handshake” with you—a promise that your pet is in the most capable hands.
Here is why choosing a credentialed professional makes a difference for your family:
- A “Quality Heuristic” for Your Safety: In an unregulated industry, credentials act as a mental shortcut to judge quality, signaling that you are hiring a high-level expert rather than a basic, volume-based hobbyist.
- Proven “Steak” Behind the “Sizzle”: While many can promise results (the sizzle), my credentials represent the “Steak”—the technical excellence, rigorous testing, and verified expertise required to actually keep those promises while ensuring your pet’s welfare is protected.
- Bypassing the “Fear of Failure”: Credentials provide the logical proof and science-based evidence needed to lower your natural skepticism, helping you feel emotionally safe before we even begin.
- A Commitment to Risk Mitigation: Being certified often means I am also professionally insured and bonded, protecting your home and your pet from the risks associated with unqualified “dog people”.
- The “Professionalism Premium”: My credentials justify my rates because they represent a faster path to success, meaning you often need fewer sessions to see lasting, safe results.
- Third-Party Validation: A credential means that an objective, professional body has deemed my methods and knowledge competent, shifting trust from a “sales pitch” to an “audition of expertise”.
